Jesse Westfall lives in Wilmore, Kentucky. He is the Trainer in Residence at Asbury University, and has been teaching there for 11 years. Some of the classes that he teaches include colt starting, western performance, liberty, and Police horse training. Jesse instructs the students and they start around 20 horses a year. Police horses trained at Asbury have been sent all over the United States and Canada and there are over 50 police horses currently in training. Jesse was an NRHA judge for 14 years and presided over shows in the United States, Canada, and Australia. He is a 4 time judge for The Road to the Horse, 5 time judge at The Horsemans Mission colt starting competition, 2 time judge for the Australian Reining National Championship show, ILHA Championship Show, The Mustang Heritage Classic show, ATFO competition as well as many others. Jesse’s students have won Champion and Reserve Championships at the All American Quarter Horse Congress, won multiple saddles and Championship buckles in reining as well as Championships in Liberty competitions. Through the years, Jesse has accumulated a record to be proud of, including multiple National Reining Horse Association and AQHA year end awards, as well as being a two-time Reserve Champion at the All American Quarter Horse Congress. With a strong interest in bloodlines and breeding, he is responsible for breeding horses that have won 11 All American Quarter Horse Congress Championships.He is constantly refining his skills and striving to be the best possible horseman that he can be.
